Paul Levy brings to Route 2 Digital an extensive operating background that combines sports business and entrepreneurial skills with finance, investment banking and principal investment expertise. Paul most recently served as Vice President with Main Street Resources (MSR), a private equity firm with $100M under management focused on growth capital investments and buyouts in the lower middle market. Prior to MSR, Paul was co-founder and CEO of Live Audience Business Solutions (LABS), a ticketing technology company focused on the live entertainment and sports vertical that he sold to SmartDM, a Nashville-based customer relationship management company in 2004. While at LABS, Paul was responsible for hiring a technology team of ten people, overseeing all areas of operations including product development, sales and finance. Paul managed the process of raising nearly $2MM of early stage capital for the business. Before starting LABS, Paul was an investment banker, first with UBS and then ING Barings, working primarily in the Internet marketing services space. Paul worked on multiple financing and M&A transactions while at both UBS and ING.
Before attending business school, Paul worked at D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles where he advised clients including P&G, Merck & Co and Burger King on their media planning and media buying strategies. Paul also worked at the New Jersey Nets basketball team in corporate sales in the early ‘90s. He received both his BA and MBA from Cornell University.
